WeatherFix.net seeks to provide much-needed weather coverage for the Cumberland, Maryland area.
About Our Founder
My name is Erick Kirchner, the founder and chief manager of WeatherFix.net, and my goal is to be a meterologist. I am a trained Skywarn spotter and a Weather-Ready Nation Ambassador. I was the weatherman on Allegany High School's live morning announcement's show called "Allegany Morning Live". I am currently a student at The Pennsylvania State University for a B.S. in Meteorology and Atmospheric Science. I enjoy following all aspects of the weather. However, I have much to learn about the weather and I am committed to gain all the knowledge I can about it.
Who We Cover
We provide in-depth weather coverage to the Cumberland, Maryland area, which is Allegany, Garrett, Somerset, Bedford, Mineral, Grant, Hardy and Hampshire counties. We also generally cover the tri-state area outside of the Cumberland,MD area. Our HQ is in Cumberland, Maryland.
